The scene was meticulously constructed through a layering of high-resolution references and advanced digital techniques. I layered multiple mountain range images against a sky image, establishing a sense of scale and vastness that feels grounded in reality prior to incorporating the plants and family. Using various Photoshop lighting and color-grading tools, I adjusted the scene to make it feel as believable as possible.
These 2 surreal portraits, created via Adobe Photoshop, depict humans on a cliffside coming face to face with giant elephants in an outer space environment. For each surreal portrait, I was inspired by existing surreal portrait that combined humans with giant animals. Using multiple images to create a scene that seamlessly blends together different objects that usually do not go together, I used various Photoshop lighting and color tools to adjust the objects to make it feel as surreal as possible.
